What Can I Expect When I Visit?
The Healing Rooms of Regina are not unlike a drop-in medical clinic. When you arrive you're greeted by a receptionist who helps you sign in. Then you're guided to a waiting room with reading materials and background music. When a Healing Rooms team becomes available, a team member comes and leads you to a prayer room.
In the prayer room the prayer team (usually two or three people) will offer you a seat and ask what you would like them to pray about. Typically the team will then ask if it's okay to put their hands lightly on your shoulders and apply a bit of oil to your forehead, as found in the Bible. You're entirely free to say no if you're not comfortable with that; the team will respect your wishes. They will then pray for you for up to 15 minutes or so, as the Spirit of God directs them.
